Charm Bracelet StorageI’m planning my trip to the annual charm convention where members of my charm group meet up and share our collections and charm stories.  This is the 2nd year for the event and this year it will be held in Manhattan Beach, California.  I’m very excited because due to last year’s big success there will be many more attendees this year.  Some are coming from far corners of the world.  You would be surprised at how we’ve formed such close friendships because of our common passion.

Currently I have my vintage charm bracelets and jewelry collections stored in plastic separated boxes that I got at a hardware store.  The boxes are intended to be used for nails, screws, bolts, etc.  They work great for separating my different types of jewelry and they slide right into my safe when I’m not creating, rearranging, and playing with my charms.   I took these with me last year to the charm convention and they worked pretty well, but I had to take out all of my vintage charms and bracelets in order for people to see and touch them.   I’ve decided I’m going to need some new display and storage units to take to this year’s event.  Keep reading below.

So I’ve been browsing some online jewelry storage possibilities.  I like the idea of this rolling travel case with black cloth trays that slide out.  I can put an assembled bracelet in each section so they are easy to see.  And I can take it with me on the plane.  There’s no way I would check these in my luggage.  And my charming friend Sandy of A Genuine Find had a set like this last year so I’ve seen how it works.

There are other storage ideas though that I’m considering.  Here are some available on ebay.  I’ve got to decide soon so I have time to organize everything for our charm convention.  There are lots of choices. Pondering…….
