Trifari Photo LocketI have to share with you this vintage Trifari photo locket pin. It's different from the normal photo lockets you typically find. This one is square and hangs from the pin with a rectangular link chain. The case opens up and has the teeniest old fashioned photos of a family inside. I have no idea who they are but I think I'm going to have to keep this for myself so the pictures stay together. I don't know how they ever got the pictures in there so perfectly. It must have taken a lot of patience. Inside the back cover the hallmark reads "Trifari Pat. No. 1718113 Sterling".  It's very sweet.

You can read about some of my other Trifari collections on these pages.  I'm a big Trifari fan.

I have one of these! My Grandmother gave it to me. I have no Ida how old it is but it has pic of my Aunt’s Uncle’s and My Father in it. All of who have passed away. She gave it to me about 40 years ago. Her name was Laura Blanch Hulsebosch it has her initles on it. She gave it to me because I was named after her 🙂 I love it! It has the same info stamped in it!

That a wonderful memento. Especially because it’s from a family member. You don’t see many of these anymore. I suspect every time silver prices go up more and more folks are selling their sterling silver jewelry for scrap because they need the money.

I have found just the locket without the pin. Did they also make just the locket to be put on a chain? Or do you think it got separated from the pin portion?

I’ve only seen it with the pin but it’s possible there was also a pendant version.
